The Presence 10 was designed for home theaters that need powerful sound from speakers mounted high on a wall or ceiling. Its angled cabinet helps aim the speaker toward the listening area, making it especially useful for rear surrounds, side surrounds, and overhead or height-channel applications.
At the heart of the design is the Celestion FTX1025, which combines a 10-inch woofer and 1-inch compression driver in a coaxial arrangement. Because both drivers radiate from the same general location and along the same axis, the Presence 10 can provide strong, consistent coverage while keeping the entire speaker compact enough for placement around a theater.
The combination of a high-sensitivity professional driver and purpose-built angled enclosure gives the Presence 10 the output needed for dynamic movie sound without requiring a large floor-standing speaker at every surround position.
