One Speaker Design for your Theater.
The Cinema 10 was designed to deliver the output and coverage you expect from a serious home theater speaker without requiring a huge cabinet. At only 8 inches deep, the enclosure stays relatively close to the wall, making it much easier to place around a projection screen, behind or beside seating, or anywhere a deeper speaker would intrude into the room.
That shallow cabinet is especially useful in dedicated theaters where you may need several speakers around the room. Instead of using one design for the front stage and something completely different for the surrounds, the Cinema 10 is versatile enough to be used for left, center, right, surrounds, and rear surrounds. That gives you a more consistent sonic character as sounds move around the room.
The combination of a 10-inch Celestion woofer and compression driver on a 90° × 50° waveguide also gives the Cinema 10 high sensitivity and broad controlled coverage. Crossed to a subwoofer around 80Hz, it can play cleanly at theater-like levels without demanding a massive external amplifier.
